As a designer, I believe in solving problems with thoughtful and meaningful design. I am passionate about creating engaging aesthetics, products, and experiences that positively impact the lives of our users.
I am always curious. The curiosity of what motivates people and why humans do what they do led me to study of psychology in college and continues to intrigue me in product design.
In college I considered becoming a therapist with my passion for psychology and humanity, but it never felt like quite the right path. When my university introduced a new program (Experience Design) in my senior year I quickly fell in love with the concept of curating immersive events, experiences, and moments for guests, but again it wasn’t the whole answer.
Balancing my needs and interests has led me through a diverse career path. Working hard to complete a goal, collaborating with a supportive team, and giving people a more tailored, meaningful experience have always been the most fulfilling aspects of my career.
…then I discovered UX design.
UX design allows me to blend my passion for people, my curiosity about the human experience, and my drive to create impactful interactions.
Drawing on my professional experience I bring a data-driven perspective, deep understanding of user needs, and adaptability into my design projects and am excited to work together to create the best solutions. It is exciting to design functional, thoughtful, and refreshing solutions to better the experience of every user.
Life outside of design
Outside of work, I enjoy being creative- learning new skills, and picking up new hobbies. I am often found outside with my dogs and husband, on an adventure with my niece and nephews, curled up reading a book, or doing something crafty.
I’m always doing projects and trying new things. This is a repainted and refinished a nightlight I made for my niece’s nursery from a thrift store find.
Adventuring and spending time outside with my pups and my husband is a regular activity for me.
I love to travel and give my niece and nephews new experiences. My nephew really enjoyed this trip the two of us took to Florida, and loved visiting the beach!
